Jackanapes thumbed through his black book and came across an old flame in Matt Garza. Well known is it that Team Jackanapes needs some attitude, and even the bad one demonstrated by Garza earlier this year following his demotion is better than nothing. (Little known is that "garza" is Aramaic for "bench".) The Next Gary Sheffield disappointed yet another owner, and was given the heave-ho. One of Jackanapes' few remaining dollars went up in smoke for this move.

N-crooked letter-F-F jump aboard the Brewer bandwagon by acquiring Cory Hart, even though it's a couple of weeks too late. Here's hoping there's some life behind that wispy beard for the second-half playoff run and that he doesn't become a Norwegian pop star. This acquisition cost a couple of mint Tiger Beats featuring Haim and Feldman. Someone had to've been dropped, but I don't feel like tabbing over in my browser, so consult your league front page.
